Your meal should also include at least 30 grams of protein in it to help support muscle growth and repair. When you lose muscle you age faster and your brain takes a huge hit. 

and lastly, slow digesting carbs such as though that come from fibrous vegetables, potatoes, and oats will also help with energy levels and mental clarity,

2. The second way to keep your brain sharp is by avoiding the things that poison it.

Eliminate sugar, high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, food colorings, and preservatives. If its not real food, don't eat it. 

3. The third way to support your brain is by getting movement in daily.

Exercise improves memory, learning, and concentration. It also helps improve your mood, boost your energy, and reduce overall stress in your body and mind. 

4. Relax and calm the mind daily.

Illnesses are worsened with stress. Stress hormones damage the hippocampus which is the memory center of the brain) causing memory loss and dementia. Learning to actively relax your brain with things like meditation, yoga, or learning something new is a great way to support brain health.
